It's still winter here in the Northwest, but we finally got a day with a few streaks of light through the rain - they call that "sunbreaks" up here. One of our goals this year is to ride our bikes for fifteen miles, so today we suited up and headed just down from our house to the "Soos Creek Trail"  - a beautiful ride that winds along a creek for a little over seven miles.

The trail moves along and across a few country roads, and also behind some horse farms. It's still in the dead of winter, so the trees don't have any clothes on, but the evergreens are still pretty and the grass grows year round.

After the ride we came home and got ready for a "sweetheart" banquet at church - mmmm... Italian food!
